Black Box Engraving started with a simple cutting board and a hobby that turned into something more. After upgrading to a CO2 laser, it became clear this was more than engraving. It was the ability to take design and turn it into a finished product people could use, display, and keep.

I bring a technical and business mindset along with a background in graphic design. My daughter brings strength in social, marketing, and the personal side of customer experience. We approach the business differently, which has shaped how we build and grow.

The early days were spent working out of a garage, late nights, and a lot of trial and error. Equipment was added over time, and every step forward came from learning by doing.

The business was built out of necessity, but it continues because of what it allows. Independence, creativity, and the ability to keep building something of our own.

At its core, Black Box Engraving is focused on producing clean, high quality products that represent something bigger than the item itself. Whether it is an award, a branded product, or a custom piece, the goal is simple. Create something that reflects the value of the person or company behind it.

We are not a volume trophy shop, and we are not a faceless online seller. Every piece is designed and produced with intention using a combination of precision equipment and hands on experience.

This is a business built from the ground up, one product, one lesson, and one improvement at a time.
